Eligibility Notes
Organizations must be located within and serve at least one eligible ARC county and support the sharing, teaching, learning, preservation, documentation, or continuity of Central Appalachian folk arts and traditional culture, specifically music, handcrafts/material culture, or foodways. Applicants must have 501(c)(3) status in good standing or work with a fiscal agent and have an FEIN. Previous or current In These Mountains Partners from FY19-FY26 and colleges/universities are ineligible. South Arts prioritizes organizations in rural communities with populations under 50,000.
