Piorities are leadership development, accessible arts experiences, family support systems, and community grants for one-time immediate organizational needs.

Timing Notes
All prospective applicants begin by submitting the Foundation's online Letter of Intent. If the Grants Committee determines that the request is a fit, the organization receives access to the password-protected full application. Letters of Intent are accepted throughout the year and are reviewed by the Foundation's Grants Committee within 30 days. Full applications are due quarterly on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31. Applications submitted by March 31 are reviewed at the May Board meeting; June 30 applications are reviewed in August; September 30 applications are reviewed in November; and December 31 applications are reviewed in February. Organizations requesting $10,000 or less are asked to complete a modified grant application.

Funded programs and projects generally must affect residents of Owensboro and Daviess County, Kentucky. The Foundation generally does not fund endowments, annual fund appeals, religious organizations, event sponsorships, individuals, operating costs, or programs and projects that do not benefit citizens of Owensboro/Daviess County. The Foundation also does not support organizations that discriminate on legally protected grounds.
