Timing Notes
Annual LOI deadlines are February 15 for education and animal welfare; May 15 for children’s programming and arts and cultural vibrancy; and August 15 for health and wellness or civic, environmental, and community vibrancy. LOI decisions are generally issued approximately four weeks after the deadline. Invited applicants then submit a full application and participate in a site visit.

Funded programs must benefit people within 60 miles of downtown Cincinnati. Applicants may apply once per calendar year and generally should have an operating budget no greater than $10 million and an unrestricted endowment no greater than $15 million. Individuals, endowed scholarships, conduit regranting, completed projects, and unrestricted general operating requests are ineligible.
