The States’ Economic Development Assistance Program focuses on supporting local and regional investments that are industry-driven and community centered. SEDAP projects must be located within the Delta region. Projects may help improve job skills and training to make local industries more competitive.

Other - There are no stated matching requirements for this program; however, applicants that offer more matching funds will be prioritized for funding.
Match is encouraged for infrastructure initiative projects in a distressed county or parish. Projects that provide transportation or basic public services to populations in distressed counties or isolated areas are exempt from the matching requirement. A map of distressed counties and parishes and isolated areas is available online at dra.gov/map-room.
In-kind matching contributions may include goods/equipment and/or services that are necessary to support the project.
Matching contributions generally may not include federal funds, except in cases where another federal program specifically allows funds to be counted as nonfederal cost share.
Matching contributions may not include:
Items already in use within the proposed project
Project staff salary/fringe for individuals already employed by the applicant
Staff salary/fringe to administer the proposed project
