The GRANT Program is available for eligible recipients to support the local match requirement when applying for a federal government grant. Applications open June 1, 2024 and will continue on a rolling monthly basis thereafter until funds expire.
Supports the efforts of nonprofit organizations to build vibrant communities that offer stable jobs, homes, and communities connected through culture, recreation, and play.
Funding through the Implementation Pathway will help communities and regions devise and implement long-term economic recovery strategies through a variety of construction and non-construction projects to address economic challenges in areas where a Presidential declaration of a major disaster was issued in 2023 and 2024.
NACo’s Counties for Housing Solutions will provide free virtual technical assistance to help counties assess and update their zoning codes to increase affordable housing development and overall housing supply. These fast-paced technical assistance sprints are designed to be high-intensity and implementation-focused, with a county being on track to formally adopt an amendment to their zoning code at the conclusion of the sprint.
Our corporate giving philosophy is guided by the belief that we can make the most difference by strengthening our communities through a grassroots contribution program. We manage requests at the local level from organizations that meet our Guidelines. To support this local focus, we afford each of our major facilities the opportunity to provide company funding to local organizations. As a company, we may also identify opportunities to work directly with organizations and programs that support our charitable giving objectives.
We can consider requests only from organizations that have IRS 501(c)(3) status
We will consider requests from organizations in the states of California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Quebec - Canada, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia
We will give preference to the programs in the communities near our major facilities
We consider requests under $1,000 each month. Deadline is the first of each month. We review requests over $1,000 quarterly. Deadlines are the last day of the months of December, March, June, and September. Checks are typically disbursed by the end of the month in whick the request is considered.
