The mission of the Folke H. Peterson Foundation is to prevent cruelty to animals and to benefit and improve the quality of life for animals.
Funds may be distributed directly for organizations to protect animals, for medical assistance, and for food for animals so long as such prevents cruelty to animals and benefits animals.
The Trustees will consider qualified applications received from US organizations that are exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3).
No funds shall be paid to any organization which euthanizes healthy animals.
