Please note that the Humanities in Place program does NOT provide support for the following:
Projects by individuals. All projects submitted must be by or in partnership with a community or organization and must have direct public access and/or community benefit.
Universities without established community partners, work, or funding centered primarily on direct public/community programs and projects.
K-12 and youth programs, scholarship programs, organizational capital campaigns, health or social services, fundraising events, projects that are primarily commemorative in nature, or standalone film, media, publications, or journalism projects.
Projects intended only for commercial uses, projects without a charitable purpose, or projects situated on private, commercial, or retail property with limited public access (excluding Tribal lands).
