USA Swimming Foundation - Youth Learn-to-Swim Grant

Funding Opportunity

The USA Swimming Foundation Youth Learn-to-Swim Grants are intended to expand existing programming and support opportunities for children who otherwise would not participate in swimming lessons for the purpose of acquiring the life saving skill of swimming. Awarded funds may be used by the swim lesson program to offer free or reduced-cost swimming lessons and/or support transportation to/from the swim lesson location(s).

Eligibility
  1. Program must be an approved participant within the Swim Lesson Provider Network in the SurveyMonkey Apply platform prior to November 15, and have registered with USA Swimming.
  2. Program must adhere to the Network requirements as listed on the USA Swimming website at https://www.usaswimming.org/coaches-leaders/connect-learn/programs-services#precompetitive---learn-to-swim.
  3. Program must have a valid Federal Tax ID Number/Employer Identification Number (EIN).
  4. Program must have and maintain throughout the grant calendar year, a current insurance certificate naming the USA Swimming Foundation as an additional insured or be self-insured, with proof of current insurance on record.
  5. Program and grant recipient must include the USA Swimming Foundation logo directing to usaswimming.org/foundation on their website.

November 15: Interested YLTS Grant Applicants must have met Eligibility Requirement #1

November 15: YLTS Grant applications due by 11:59pm Mountain Time

End of February: YLTS Grant recipients announced

The Grant Review Committee looks most favorably upon programs and projects that obtain or raise matching (or incremental) dollars within the local community.
