
Two Mauds supports innovative programs that directly prevent or alleviate the suffering of animals and that are carried out by smaller organizations. Two Mauds funds: spay-neuter of owned pets or TNR of community cats; programs that develop a comprehensive "neuter before adoption" for animals adopted to the public from a municipal shelter; humane traps for TNR/SNR; equipment for spay-neuter clinics to open or expand; expenses or supplies to transport animals to a spay-neuter clinic.

Eligible applicants must be:
Located in (or near) our granting region of the Appalachias; A 501c3 for at least 2 years, public charity or municipal shelter;
For 501c3: Have at least 4 board members, 3 of which are independent;
Have an annual budget or annual revenues of less than $150,000. If your budget is larger, please reach out prior to applying.
Application deadline for first-time applicants - organizations new to Two Mauds: June 30. We will contact you after receipt of your completed application and will consider an in-person site visit. A site visit does not guarantee funding. Application deadline for prior Two Mauds grantees: August 31. Grant decisions are usually made in November and funds are sent at the end of the year.
