Kentucky's Government Resources Accelerating Needed Transformation (GRANT) Program has been extended through 2028, and with that extension come important changes that every eligible organization should understand. Join us for a free webinar to get up to speed on what's changed and what it means for your organization.
Joseph Gearon, Director of the Program Administration Division at the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, will walk attendees through the latest program updates, including the new 90-day application window, updated local match requirements, an extended fund obligation timeline, and newly eligible federal agencies.
Attendees will also hear directly from four community members who have used GRANT match funds to bring transformative projects to life in their rural communities, including:
-Angelia Hall, Grants Coordinator for Perry County Fiscal Court, who says the program turned an impossible local match burden into a $19 million water infrastructure win for Perry County's most vulnerable residents
-Kathi May, mayor of Campton, Kentucky, who was able to use GRANT match funds to bring in $10 million in federal infrastructure investment for a small town with an annual budget of just $1.9 million
-Valerie Horn, Executive Director of Cowan Community Action Group, who used the program to turn a $1,176 local investment into $240,000 in federal funding to build a permanent pavilion and stage for the Whitesburg Farmers Market
-Ruthie Caldwell, owner of Vision Granted, a grant professional who specializes in helping small rural nonprofits and municipal governments
Don’t miss your chance to get an inside look at how organizations across Kentucky are putting the program to work to advance federal economic strategies in their regions!
