Funding Opportunity

The purpose of this program is to improve financial lives and support economic opportunity for all by providing funding to nonprofit organizations for projects that align with the following FY 2025 funding priorities:

Basic needs

Income creation

Stable housing

Empowered communities

The funding agency supports nonprofit organizations focused on issues fundamental to economic mobility in low- and moderate-income communities, and seeks to improve the lives of individuals and families by investing in health, jobs, and strengthening broader community vitality by addressing needs related to small business resiliency and community development. The funding agency also seeks to support vulnerable populations such as working families, youth, seniors, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and criminal justice-involved individuals.

Eligibility:

To be considered for a local grant, your organization:

Must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, not classified as a private foundation and not operating through a fiscal agent or sponsor;

Must be based and serve communities in Bank of America markets (see website for link to eligible markets);

Must be aligned with our funding priorities June 2025 application: stable housing and empowering communities
